HUNTING THE KING

A novel soon to be published by Kunati Books in the spring of 2008. The novel tells the story of archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer who heads an expedition into Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus and his illegitimate daughter Hannaniah. In the genre of DA VINCI CODE, HUNTING will keep you turning the page to the very end. But more than just an adventure story, HUNTING is a story of faith and the search for faith in a world that has lost it. Molly is both a loyal Catholic and a scientist who lives for the exploration. She can't resist Italian archaeologist Nina Cavalcante's invitation on the greatest and most dangerous expedition ever mounted. Yet she is tormented by the fear of what she may find buried beneath the sands of ancient Babylon. HUNTING will be perceived by many as controversial, as was DA VINCI, merely because it dares to tell a story of Jesus other than what appears in the gospels. But HUNTING is not about who Jesus was so much as it is about what he stood for, something much up for debate. Please feel free to give your opinion and check out the Kunati Books websote, spring '08, to view the cover and blurb.
